VMB Automation strives to execute its projects as sustainably as possible, with a focus on Planet, People, and Profit. We separate our waste streams at the source and, wherever possible, reuse materials, contributing to circularity in our supply chain. We regularly discuss with our clients and suppliers how we can improve collaboration and organise processes even more effectively.

Responsibility

We strive to minimise our environmental impact by collecting rainwater for use in toilets and landscaping. By choosing diverse planting and installing bee hotels, we also contribute to local biodiversity.

We generate our own electricity, allowing us to operate as a climate-neutral company. In addition, we offer electric vehicle charging facilities on our premises. At our site in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, we actively support the local energy cooperative, helping to ensure that sustainably generated electricity is used within the community.
Our CSR objectives are clearly defined and audited under our ISO 14001 certification. We value long-term, sustainable relationships with our customers and suppliers — and we actively invest in them. Wherever possible, we support local production and invest in sustainable technologies and alternative materials. Sustainability is an integral part of our product development and decision-making processes.
For us, sustainability is closely linked to quality, reliability, and added value for our customers. By doing the job right the first time, we reduce the use of materials and resources. Our production processes are efficient and energy-conscious.
We also place great importance on the well-being of our employees, engaging in regular discussions about safety, training, and future development. Externally, we take responsibility through sponsorship of various organisations, both locally and nationally.
